Mike Sydloski is a professional musician who has played guitar in a number of bands in Tucson, Arizona over the past 40 years. He was nominated for Best Guitarist in the annual Best of Tucson awards in the Tucson Weekly, and was a founding member of a project that won the Best Rock Band category in 2019. He has appeared on countless recordings as a hired gun. Additionally, he served as the head of the guitar department at Rainbow Guitars for more than 20 years. 

Mike has been teaching guitar to students from ages 8 to 84 since 1995. He has tutored hundreds of musicians, many of whom lead successful musical lives of their own. He brings intensity and an inquisitive spirit to each and every lesson, much like his live performances.

He is equipped to teach you how to play a favorite tune, become a shredder, or hold it down in the church band. He offers guitar lessons with an emphasis on improvisation, mechanics, and songwriting/accompaniment. He teaches most styles, and accepts beginner and intermediate level musicians. He caters lessons according to the individual needs and goals of each student.
